Antique Max Dannhorn Metal Framed Porcelain Serving Tray for your consideration. The tray measures approx. 10 1/2 inches tall, 5 inches wide and 1 3/4 inches tall. Max Dannhorn was founded in 1872 and operated until 1921. Metal framework with stoneware insert most likely made by Villeroy & Boch. The porcelain is decorated with blue and purple floral motifs. The underside of the tray is marked with Max Dannhorn tree mark and impressed marks, “9 M 12 20” and “5088”. Very good condition. No chips or cracks. Shows minor wear commensurate with age and use. Light rust and tarnish to metalwork. See photos. Displays elegantly.
