Mason’s Ironstone Waterlily Pitcher for your consideration. The pitcher measures approx. 6 1/4 inches tall and approx. 6 inches from spout to handle. First half 20th Century; England. Hand colored transfer decoration of floral design against cream white ground. Decorated inside and out. Gold-gilt highlights outlining floral motifs. Marked on base with “MASON’S” crown mark including “IRONSTONE MADE IN ENGLAND” and “Waterlily”. Further, handwritten marks on base include, “21” and ink stamp “M”; plus impressed illegible marks on edge. Excellent condition; no chips or cracks. Shows minor wear commensurate with age.
