Art Deco LOV-LOR Cheramy Face Powder Container by Rene Lalique for your consideration. The box measures approx. 2 3/4 inches X 2 3/4 inches and approx. 1 1/2 inches tall. Paris, France c. 1940s. Designed by Rene Lalique for Cheramy, New York in 1944 for their “Lov-Lor” face powder cosmetic product. Aluminum box decorated with repousse clover and sprig floral lid. Base of container in embossed lettering reads, “LOV-LOR” “Face Powder” “CHERAMY” “New-York”. Good vintage condition. Shows wear commensurate with age and use. Condition issues include but are not limited to: pin-sized holes (approx. three) towards base, light denting, soiling, residue remnant interior, etc… Condition issues are not noticeable except under close examination.
