Large Antique Apothecary Glass Stopper Embossed St. Louis Jar for your consideration. The jar measures approx. 12 1/2 inches tall with stopper; 11 inches tall without stopper. Jar measures approx. 6 inches in diameter at widest point. Top diameter measures approx. 4 1/2 inches; base diameter measures approx. 4 1/8 inches. Insert of stopper measures approx. 3 5/16 inches in diameter. Embossed face with cursive lettering that is a mystery to what it reads. Also embossed in smaller lettering reads, “ST. LOUIS”. Overall, good antique condition. Shows wear commensurate with age and use. Insert of stopper is very rough. Rim to jar has two small chips. Condition issues are not visible when jar is on display; only noticeable under closer examination. See photos. Displays handsomely, Rare!
