Japanese Bronze Elephant Censer for your consideration. The censer measures approx. 6 5/8 inches tall, 7 3/4 inches wide and 6 inches deep. Japan, Meiji to Taisho period, late 19th to early 20th Century. Seizan workshop. Bronze, incense burner censer or flower vase. Four footed base construction, double elephant head handles with rings in raised trunks on either side. Bulbous body with cylindrical neck and flared lip. Impressed Seizan seal script mark on base. Excellent antique condition. Shows minor wear commensurate with age and use. Natural aged patina. See photos. Displays elegantly!
