Gorham Coin Silver Bust Pattern Pie Server for your consideration. The server measures approx. 9 inches long, 2 7/8 inches wide and approx. 3/4 of an inch tall. Server weighs approx. 3.22 Troy Ounces (100 grams). Mid 19th Century; Providence, RI. Figural flatware design from Gorham known as the ‘Bust’ pattern. It features a cast female bust atop a handle that is shaped in pedestal form. The woman figure is adorned in a draping garment with her hair embellished with ivy leaves and berries. The spade is hand-engraved with fine classical design. Marked on back of the handle with Gorham’s hallmarks; plus, “GEO. C. SHREVE & CO”. Very good antique condition. Shows wear commensurate with age and use. Tip of spade is slightly worn. Silver is a bit tarnished. See photos. Displays superb!
