Rare & Original Fraureuth Porcelain Figurine of Nude with Fawn for your consideration. The figurine measures approx. 8 1/4 inches tall, 3 1/8 inches wide and 7 1/4 inches deep. German, Wallendorf, c. 1919-1926. Faureuth, Porzellanmanufaktur. No. 1763, “gute Freunde”. Blac de chine, Figurine of nude maiden with fawn. Partially decorated with gold gilt highlights. Figurine depicts the woman offering a hand of comfort to the young deer. Female is completely nude with the exception of her holding a drapery in her other hand that is limitedly covering her backside. Underglaze blue mark on base, “FRAUREUTH” “1763” with crown over “W”. Excellent antique condition. No chips or cracks. Shows wear commensurate with age. See photos. Displays elegantly!
