The painting measures approx. 14 inches X 26 1/2 inches. Late 19th to Early 20th Century. Folk Art Oil Painting on board depicting old cabin in a scenic mountainous river setting. The painting is encased in decorative gilt wood frame. No artist signature detected. Overall, good antique condition; “Shabby Chic”. Shows wear commensurate with age. Cardboard backing with old moisture stains, held together with packaging tape. Top right corner and right edge of painting has areas of paint flaking/cracking. Painting shows areas of soiling, minor scrapes/scratches, and small areas of paint loss throughout. See photos. Displays primitive, Perfect cabin decor!
