Rare & Original Folk Art Cast Iron Barber Pole Nelson Lawn Sprinkler for your consideration. The sprinkler measures approx. 9 1/2 inches tall. The sprinkler wand measures approx. 11 1/2 inches long. Base of sprinkler measures approx. 8 inches wide and 7 1/2 inches deep. Cast iron. Original patriotic paint. Blue hexagon shaped base with standard sized hose attachment. Red and white barber pole striped body with rotating propeller sprinkler head. Embossed mark on base reads, “L. R. NELSON MFG. CO. PEORIA ILL.”. Excellent vintage condition. Shows wear commensurate with age and use. Light rust. A sealer has been used under sprinkler head. Sprinkler works! See photos. Displays splendid! One-of-a-kind!
