American or Continental, first half 20th Century. Maker unknown. Automobile radiator mascot hood ornament is silvered bronze casting of two fighting roosters (cockerels). The sculpture rests on a multi-tiered Bakelite base. Inside of base is marked, “EDWIN W. LANE CO.” “TROPHIES MEDALS” “32 W. RANDOLPH, CHICAGO 1, ILL.” “SERIAL # B2701” “DODGE, INC.
