Fedoskino Russian Lacquer Mother of Pearl Box for your consideration. The box measures approx. 5 3/4 inches long, 2 3/4 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches tall. Lacquered papier-Mache. Mother of pearl moonlight in sky. Hand Painted scene of cloaked figure walking on a snowy forest path to a church. Signed, “FEDOSKINO” plus artist initials towards bottom of the scene on lid. Further gold leaf decorations adorning the sides of the box. Excellent condition. Shows minor wear commensurate with age and use. See photos. Displays exquisite!
