Antique Chinese Cloisonne Dragon Flaming Pearl Bowl for your consideration. The bowl measures approx. 8 inches in diameter and approx. 2 1/2 inches tall. The top rim diameter measures approx. 6 3/4 inches; footed base diameter approx. 5 1/8 inches. Chinese, late 19th to early 20th Century. Censer or brush washer. Cloisonne, bronze and enamel construction. Heavily decorated with a pair of five-toed dragons chasing the flaming pearl on the sides of the bowl. Single dragon on interior of bowl protecting the flaming pearl. Bronze wire cloud enamel design throughout. Waved-aqueous patterned decorations toward the interior and exterior base of the bowl. Black enamel, wire cloud patterned motifs on underside of base. Unmarked. Excellent antique condition. Shows minor wear commensurate with age and use. See photos. Displays splendid!
