Antique T. C. Brown-Westhead Moore & Co. Chamber Pot for your consideration. The chamber pot measures approx. 5 1/4 inches tall and approx. 11 inches from rim to handle. Top diameter measures approx. 8 1/2 inches; footed base diameter approx. 5 5/8 inches. English, Cauldon Place, Stoke-upon-Trent; second half 19th Century. Unusual hand-decorated transfer Aesthetic Movement patterned design of reds, greens and yellow colors with gold-gilt accents. Raised registry mark to base dating this piece to November 6th, 1873. Impressed mark, “T.C. BROWN-WESTHEAD MOORE & Co.” and the number, “5”. In addition to impressed and embossed marks, two handwritten marks in green ink; “D316Y” and “K”. Excellent antique condition. Shows minor wear commensurate with age and use. See photos. Displays intriguing. Scarce!
