Antique Black Americana Majolica Boy Smoking Pipe Clam Shell Ashtray or Coin Tray for your consideration. The dish measures approx. 3 1/2 inches tall, 4 1/4 inches wide and 3 3/4 inches deep. Majolica glazed tray in form of clam shell with black boy smoking from tobacco pipe. Impressed marks on base, “43” and “6827”. Good antique condition. Shows wear commensurate with age and use. Roughness and unglazed areas to front rim. Worn areas to high points of boy’s hand, pipe and face. See photos. Displays splendid!
