Art Nouveau Bavaria Z.S.&Co. Royal Munich Lidded Bowl for your consideration. The lidded bowl measures approx. 5 1/2 inches tall; approx. 8 1/4 inches from handle to handle. Dates from c. 1890-1910. Transfer hand decorated floral pink and white rose motifs. Gold gilt highlights. Quintessential Art Nouveau design. Marked on base, “ROYAL MUNICH” with lion shield. Royal Munich is believed to have been a decorating studio of porcelain blanks. Also marked on base, “Z.S.&Co” over “BAVARIA”, representing the porcelain factory Zeh,Scherzer & Co.
