Art Deco Sterling Silver Evans Compact with Leaping Gazelle

Art Deco Sterling Silver Compact by Evans of Leaping Gazelle for your consideration. The compact measures approx. 3 7/8 inches in diameter and approx. 5/8 of an inch thick. American, First half 20th Century. Two-toned stag and doe gazelles prancing through leafy foliage. Embossed circular design on base. Push-button latch. Mirror on underside of lid with original powder puff. Marked, “STERLING” on rim. Very good vintage condition. Shows wear commensurate with age and use. Condition issues include but not limited to: surface rubs and light scratching, a bit tarnished, powder residue, minor mirror scuffing, small amounts of rusting and soiling. Condition issues are not noticeable except under close examination. See photos. Displays quintessential Art Deco!
