Art Deco Duska Langlois Compact

Art Deco Duska Langlois Compact for your consideration. The compact measures approx. 2 inches in diameter and approx. 1/4 of an inch thick. New York c. 1930s. Embossed brass floral fountain garden setting against red ground. Hinged clasp on front. Hinged lid opens to circular mirror and red and gold embroidered powder puff. Back of compact is decorated in brass pattern and mark that reads, “Duska Langlois New York”. Very good vintage condition. Shows minor wear commensurate with age and use. Brass overlay decoration is a bit faded in a few areas. See photos. Displays fancy!
