Antique Limoges Hand Painted Portrait Painting on Porcelain Plaque of Semi-Nude Maiden for your consideration. The porcelain plaque measures approx. 5 1/4 inches X 7 5/8 inches. Late 19th Century; either French or German origin. Portrait of young semi-nude maiden with long wavy brown hair and innocent brown eyes looking up. Her hands are pressed together holding white sheet covering her nude body. Handwritten marks on back read, “126./6L” and impressed mark, “E”. Artist signature undetected. Excellent antique condition. Shows wear commensurate with age. Light scratching to surface with small amount of paint loss. Glue residue on back of porcelain plaque. See photos. Displays special! KPM Quality!
