19th Century Mochaware Checkerboard Pattern Child’s Cup & Saucer for your consideration. The cup measures approx. 1 5/8 inches tall; 2 7/8 inches handle to rim. Saucer measures approx. 3 3/8 inches in diameter; 5/8 of an inch tall. Brown glazed checkered pattern against white ground. Brown glazed bands bordering top and bottom. Saucer is glazed brown with white center and underside. Very good condition. Shows wear commensurate with age and use. Tight vertical hairline mainly visible on inside. A few flakes to brown glaze. Minor flea bite to rim of saucer filled in with black. Crude. Crazing throughout. See photos. Displays splendid!
