Antique Japanese Satsuma Bottle Vase for your consideration. The vase measures approx. 8 inches tall and approx. 5 1/4 inches in diameter. The top diameter measures approx. 2 inches; footed base diameter measures approx. 3 1/2 inches. Late 19th to early 20th Century; Meiji Period, Japan. Hand painted; four panels. Two panels are decorated with enamel floral scenes and the other two panels depict Imperial courtier scenes of wisemen, queen and children. Unmarked. Very good antique condition. Shows minor wear commensurate with age and use. Faint hairline to inside lip that does not go through to the outside of vase. Other condition issues include but are not limited to, soiling, crazing, age spots/stains, etc… See photos. Displays excellent!
