Antique Folk Art Chalkware Cat for your consideration. The cat is a nice larger size, measuring approx. 9 1/4 inches tall, 6 1/2 inches deep and 4 inches wide. American, possibly PA, late 19th to early 20th Century. Folk Art, Polychrome, Chalkware figure. Seated feline, spotted tabby cat with black ears, nose and stripe down back with black spots against white. Cat has yellow eyes with dark royal-blue collar. Cat also has some faint bluish-gold highlights. Very good antique condition. Shows wear commensurate with age and use. Chipping to cat’s ears, especially the right. See photos. Displays spectacular!
