Rare & Original Antique Dutch Silver Sifter Spoon for your consideration. The spoon measures approx. 5 3/4 inches long and 2 3/4 inches wide. Netherlands, Dutch, 19th Century. Solid silver .833. Sifter spoon likely for sugar or fruit. Rococo stylized handle with female figure and floral cartouche motifs. Spoon bowl is decoratively pierced with geometric designs and star symbol in center. Hallmarked on spoon bowl with illegible makers mark and “lion passant 2” silver mark. Good antique condition. Shows wear commensurate with age and use. Small crack where handle and bowl connect. Silver is a bit tarnished. See photos. Displays superb!
