19th Century Diminutive Mocha Brown Checkerboard Pattern Pitcher and Bowl for your consideration. The pitcher measures approx. 3 1/4 inches tall; 3 1/2 inches from spout to handle. The bowl measures approx. 4 1/8 inches in diameter; 1 3/4 inches tall. Brown glazed checkered pattern against white ground. The pitcher and bowl are each marked on base, “AUSTRIA”. Very good condition. Shows wear commensurate with age and use. Roughness to spout. Firing line flaw during manufacturing. Small rim chip to bowl. Unfinished raised areas to inside of bowl. Crude. Crazing throughout. See photos. Displays splendid!
