Antique Child’s Mochaware Checkered Mug for your consideration. The mug measures approx. 2 7/8 inches tall and approx. 3 1/2 inches from rim to handle. Austrian, 19th Century. Brown banded yellowware, brown & white checkerboard pattern. Applied stylized strap handle. Impressed marks on base include “AUSTRIA” and “8”, plus handwritten markings. Good antique condition. Shows wear commensurate with age and use. Conditions issues include but are not limited to, fleabites at lip rim, age staining spots to interior, crazing throughout, crude manufacturing imperfections, etc. See photos. Displays special!
