Pair of Aesthetic Movement Gold Gilt Candelabras for your consideration. Each candelabra measures approx. 19 1/2 inches tall and approx. 11 inches in diameter. Each candle insert measures approx. 7/8 of an inch in diameter. Second half 19th Century; Brass. Five- point candlestick holders with four aesthetically constructed arms. Each capital has inscribed fruit motif on either side. Fifth capital acts as a finial with removable candle snuffer. All of the candelabra branches tie into a single Greco-Roman stylized column that rests on a dome shaped base with floral design. Further, two decorative cartouche legs rest on yet again, another platform with further sprig detailing all resting on a four peg-footed base architecture. Impressed marks on base of each includes, “53” and “AD20”. Very good antique condition. Shows wear commensurate with age and use. Natural patina. Candle wax residue. See photos. Displays handsomely!
